　The LNX-204 is a LAN multiplexer that can switch between four LAN ports. It does not support PoE switching. You can switch all the LAN connections (8 cores) using the following method.

• Switching can be done by sending simple commands via LAN from a remote PC, etc.
• Manual switching with the switch attached to the main unit
• Switching by external contact input *Not compatible with LNX-204e (economy version)

　The switching circuit uses a multiplexer IC dedicated to LAN. It can be used for switching between external and internal networks, or for systems that connect to the network only when necessary. By switching the LAN port, it is possible to test four LAN devices with a single setting during automatic testing, and it can also be used to reduce the labor required for testing.

　The LNX-204 comes with PoE functionality as standard, so it can be powered from a LAN cable (requires a PoE-compatible HUB, etc.). It can also be powered by the included AC adapter.

　Network settings and other settings can be configured from a microSD card, and when replacing equipment, they can be easily restored by simply inserting the microSD card.

　The LNX-204e is an economy version that omits the PoE function and external contact input function. Power is supplied from the included AC adapter.

Features

  • When replacing equipment, you can easily migrate by replacing the setting memory card.
  • Setting data can be sent to remote locations via email attachments, etc.
  • There are no restrictions on the IP address that can be set (can be set outside the segment)
  • Easily back up and record settings by saving the settings file
• Device settings can also be configured via network (LAN) using the original setting tool.
• The power supply for the main unit is PoE compatible and can be powered from a LAN cable.
  *The switching port does not support PoE power supply.
  *LNX-204e (economy version) is not supported.

because it is inserted in the middle of the LAN cable, speed may decrease. Speed ​​is not guaranteed. If the LAN cable is long, inserting a gigabit-compatible switching hub may improve the speed decrease. You can evaluate it with a free demo unit

LNX series setting tool

　This is an application for creating setting data for the LNX series.

　The created setting data is automatically configured by inserting it into the setting memory card (microSD) and turning on the power.
At this time, a backup file of the setting data is created in the setting memory card (microSD).
The setting data is saved even when the power is turned off, so there is no need to insert the microSD card next time.
When replacing the main unit of the LNX series, you can easily set it to the same settings by using the setting memory card (microSD).
If the PC and the product are connected in the same segment, you can also configure it via the network (LAN).
