　The LNX-209/LNX-209e is a LAN multiplexer that can switch between four LAN ports. You can physically switch all the LAN connections (8 wires) using the following method.

• Switching can be done by sending simple commands via LAN from a remote PC, etc.
• Manual switching with the switch attached to the main unit
• Switching by external contact input *Not compatible with LNX-209e (economy version)

　The switching circuit uses a latching relay, so the connection of the switched LAN port can be maintained even after the power is turned off. Switching is also possible for PoE LAN ports (hot plugging and unplugging is not supported). It can be used for switching between external and internal networks, or for systems that connect to the network only when necessary. By switching the LAN port, it is possible to test four devices with a single setting during automatic testing of LAN devices, which can also be used to reduce the labor required for testing.

　The LNX-209 comes standard with a PoE circuit, so it can be powered from a LAN cable (a PoE-compatible hub is required). It can also be powered from the included AC adapter. Network settings can be
　configured from a microSD card, and when replacing equipment, you can easily restore the settings by simply inserting the microSD card.

　The LNX-209e is an economy (low-cost) version that omits the PoE circuit for power and the external contact input function. Power is supplied from the included AC adapter.

  • There are no restrictions on the IP address that can be set (can be set outside the segment)
  • Easily back up and record settings by saving the settings file
• Device settings can also be configured via network (LAN) using the original setting tool.
• The power supply for the main unit is PoE compatible and can be powered from a LAN cable. *LNX-209e (economy version) is not compatible.

because it is inserted in the middle of the LAN cable, speed may decrease. Speed ​​is not guaranteed. In cases such as when the LAN cable is long, speed decrease may be improved by inserting a gigabit-compatible switching hub. You can evaluate it with a free demo unit

LNX series setting tool

　This is an application for creating setting data for the LNX series.

　The created setting data is automatically configured by inserting it into the setting memory card (microSD) and turning on the power.
At this time, a backup file of the setting data is created in the setting memory card (microSD).
The setting data is saved even when the power is turned off, so there is no need to insert the microSD card next time.
When replacing the main unit of the LNX series, you can easily set it to the same settings by using the setting memory card (microSD).
If the PC and the product are connected in the same segment, you can also configure it via the network (LAN).
