　LNX-506 is a converter that connects to RS-485 2-wire (half-duplex) via LAN. The RS-485 side is insulated. The LAN is originally insulated, so it is double insulated. By
connecting a PC and LNX-506 via LAN, you can control RS-485 devices using TCP, UDP, Telnet, etc. You can also connect LNX-506 to each other via LAN and use it to extend an existing RS-485 network via LAN. It
　operates by supplying DC5V from the included AC adapter ( there is also a separate product, LNX-506-24V, which can accept a wide range of power inputs from DC5 to 30V). You can also use
　the virtual COM port generation tool to link the IP address assigned to this product to a virtual COM port and use it. This allows it to be treated as a normal COM port, so you can design PC-side applications even if you do not have knowledge of networks.
